Times have been challenging for the construction sector, so what better way to boost moral and treat your clients and colleagues than by entering a team into the construction industry’s Dragon Boat Challenge.
Taking place in Manchester, Salford Quays on the 8th June and London, West Reservoir N4 on the 30th June, the challenges offer hundreds of construction companies the chance to have fun, network and support CRASH’s work to help homeless people.
How your involvement helps CRASH
A percentage of every team entry fee goes to CRASH to help homeless men and women throughout the UK. Your support means CRASH can improve night shelters and hostels, creating safe and secure environments were people can start to rebuild their lives.
Without the Dragon Boat Challenges CRASH could not respond to the increasing number of requests for help. By getting involved, you really do make a huge difference to the lives of hundreds of homeless people.
Dragon Boat Challenge – The Facts
On the day up to 10 people paddle each boat, with a drummer beating time and we provide a qualified helm at the tail to steer a straight course.
No previous experience is required. All you need is a competitive spirit, some team work and a determination to become the Dragon Boat Challenge Champion 2011!
Each crew is guaranteed at least 3 races and will also enjoy a gourmet barbeque and a colour souvenir programme which is included in the entry fee. Water side entertainment and a pay bar add to the enjoyment of the day.
It would be great to welcome you. For more information on the Dragon Boat Challenges please contact me on 020 8742 0717 or email kmarsh@crash.org.uk.
